   * Save the holy rivers Alaknanda, Mandakini.

     (1) Do not allow dirty drains to flow into holy rivers.

     (2) Preventing dumping zones in holy rivers and obstruction in the flow of rivers.

    * Stopping the exploitation of natural resources

     (1) To make efforts to stop the felling of trees

     (2) To prevent tampering with water sources and other natural endowments.

 

    *To spread the slogan of 'Plastic Bandh' from door to door.

      (1) Oak, Buransh, Kafal, Ayar, Ghinghora, Walnut etc.

     *Preventing the expansion of noise pollution.

     * Do not allow 'more illegal mining'.

 •When I FIRST HEARD ABOUT IT:

After reading all this, I liked it very much, what work will Rudra Hinwala do in the future.  All the people involved in this are of their own free will, because they all think that how and what are the actions that we can do in the interest of our mountain.

Rudra Hinwala is taking a lot of things deeply, such as forest fires every year, our pilgrimage sites, Bugyals and other places to be plastic free and many more.  Young people of this organization are working on all these things.

First Cleanliness Drive: CHOPTA, TUNGNATH:

 A cleanliness drive was carried out by Rudra Hinwala which was in Chopta, Tungnath.  

July 24, 2021- In this cleanliness drive, close to 32 numbers of people came.  Everyone decided that everyone would collect plastic while coming down from the top. Some of us went to Chandrashila and some went around the temple complex.  We took out about 34 bags of plastic from there, which was about 2 quintals.  It is very sad when so much garbage is spread around the temple premises and around such pilgrimage places.  As far as I understand, there is a lot of negligence on the part of the temple committee because we got most of the material behind the temple premises which is offered in the temple.  Very sad to see all this plastic oil bottles, plastic covers of incense and much more.

We handed over all this to the garbage and took written assurance from them that it would be disposed of properly.  Everyone put their own signatures on it and then told them that there should be no negligence in this.  This youth campaign was successful and in the end there was a lot of happiness on everyone's face.

•SECOND CLEANLINESS DRIVE: SARI, DEVRIYATAAL: 

The date is fixed August 29, 2021.  We all met around 9 o'clock.  Everyone was told in advance that we will meet in the temple (Ratneshwar Mahadev) above all.  There is a small program here, in which folk singer Smt. Rameshwari Devi Bhatt ji is also involved here.  After that we explained to everyone how we have to pick up the garbage this time.

Whatever plastic packets we are getting on the way out for the cleanliness drive at around 11:30, we are filling them inside the bottle.  There is not much garbage here (less than it was in Chopta here).  Then we reached Deoriatal and collected all the plastic and started filling it in the bottle.  We have to fill that plastic in the bottle in such a way that maximum garbage gets in the bottle and there is no gap in it.  We made around 45 bottles, which is around 55 to 60 kg.  We have to use these bottles as eco bricks.  This campaign was very successful and this method was also very good.  Everyone praised this work.

 In future also Rudra Hinwala will continue to do the same work.  And it is also not that Rudra Hinwala will only work related to plastic, garbage, these things, but we will work in every interest from trees to saplings, to our Mangal, Jagar, Jhumolo Geet, to the coming of our mountain.
